Munich, January 2017 - Breakfast at Tiffany? Nope...Cocktails!
Tiffany & Co. just launched its two new watch collections and therefore invited to a dazzling New York minute party at the BMW world in Munich.
After a long, long period of not being strongly represented on the watch market, Tiffany & Co. finally got back into the game by releasing a fabulous new watch collection consisting of the CT60 - which is named after the founder, Charles Lewis Tiffany and the East West watch.
A lot of you (and honestly.. me neither ...until now) do or did knew that Tiffany already started its watch business in 1837 with great watches and a successes they should be proud of.
In 1847 for e.g. Tiffany & Co. started selling its watches, in 1853 the Atlas watch in New York - which is still at the entrance of the flagship store - was revealed, 1854 beginning of the still ongoing partnership with Patek Philippe, 1880 until 1940 launching a bunch of award winning watches, 1983 presentation of the first Atlas inspired wrist watch.
To give a tribute to this impressive and long history of watchmaking, Tiffany & Co. and
Nicola Andreatta, vice president and general manager of Tiffany Swiss Watches invited and celebrated a real New York party with over 300 guests and tons of champagne, cocktails and oysters.
I have to admit, that it was a really fun night with great and inspiring people, that I was able to meet and to spend the night with.
I'm wearing the new East West watch in stainless steel with a 46.5 x 27.5 mm case, with a blue guilloché dial which features silver poudré numerals and a self-winding mechanical movement. The strap is made of blue alligator leather. It is water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet/3 ATM and of course it is Swiss-made.
