Mobility is huge part of our life and it is truly a human need. Therefore the BMW Group is constantly on the search for new forms of mobility and concepts. Exceeding known limits and to enter into interdisciplinary collaborations is part of the development of innovative Technologies, as well as for the vehicle design of the future, to the new self-image of the BMW Group. Especially in the luxury segment, vehicles will become more and more habitats in the future the luxury of spending a little personal time.
For the development of the new exhibition space for the BMW luxury class at the BMW Welt, BMW Group Design boss Adrian van Hooydonk the internationally renowned and award-winning Architect and designer Patricia Urquiola came together and created an amazing space worth seeing.
Patricia Urquiola is known for integration of innovative technologies in the design of furniture and comfortable living spaces. The interplay of vehicle and exhibition design on this new exhibition space creates an atmosphere in which the uniqueness of BMW luxury models can be experienced and properly introduced to its visitors.

Adrian van Hooydonk and Patricia Urquiola truly present their personal interpretation of modern luxury. Which is combined of many, many different high-end materials, unique color combinations and surfaces, that mix in perfectly together creating a stunning and exciting space.
